COVID-19 Active Cases

Our Coronavirus Task Force recently established a subcommittee focused on campus recovery. In the past couple of weeks, the University moved to mask and removed restrictions for indoor events. For over a year now, we have reflected new and active cases among our campus community, and the numbers were updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Cases have remained very low for several weeks.

Beginning Monday, April 4, UE will no longer conduct contact tracing for students. Students will have the responsibility to inform close contacts should they begin to experience symptoms and/or test positive for COVID-19. Starting on this day, the above graph will only reflect active cases as new cases will no longer be tracked.

On Monday, April 11, UE will remove the COVID-19 dashboard as new information for active and new cases will no longer be tracked.

This University will continue to navigate our recovery and keep the campus community informed of future changes. In an effort to keep the UE community informed about the presence of COVID-19, the University would reinstate the dashboard and report the number of active positive and new positive COVID-19 cases on campus.
